This book presents a personal, completely subjective «fountain-of-youth-selection» of the black and white work made by Dino Simonett in hommage to Burri's sixty-fifth birthday - each photograph capturing and revealing to us at least one «strange sensation».

Some of René Burri's photographs have become popular icons: Che Guevara bsmoking a cigar, a group of men on the roof of a skyscraper, the architect Le Corbusier at work, etc. But what we really know of Burri's work is only the very tip of the iceberg. Burri spent two years working with Dino Simonett on his immense archives. With a fresh and «four-eyed-view» they rediscovered and re-edited «spectacular new» and «unseen» pictures, timeless documents from the fifties to the nineties.
