Exposure to nature in the wild has shaped his photography. His keen eye and fine judgment have matured as much from landscapes as from people and set pieces. His pictures never clamour, but do speak a soundless language, clear and direct. Discreet but penetrating vision brings them to life.
A native of the Bernese Oberland, Bruno Augsburger studied photography in Zurich and Leipzig and now lives in Zurich. His creative work sparks repeated expeditions to the vastnesses of Scandinavia and Canada.
